Its team of highly experienced and skilled design engineers have designed a unique solar power solution based on the deployment of prefabricated component modules. Our CSP support team includes many engineers that previously worked with DLR in Germany (German Aerospace Centre). Their work at DLR specialized specifically on solar power technology research and development.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

SOLAR ENERGY REFRACTOR (SER)

Paramount has a proprietary ground breaking design for the construction of solar energy power plants. Its team of highly experienced and skilled design engineers have designed a unique solar power solution based on the deployment of prefabricated component modules.

Our CSP support team includes many engineers that previously worked with DLR in Germany (German Aerospace Centre). Their work at DLR specialized specifically on solar power technology research and development.

Using our proprietary technology, we are currently working on units for delivery in 2016 to countries in Africa.

The unique modular design allows for ease of shipment, fast delivery and reduced costs. For our customers this represents a significant advantage over the deployment of traditional large CSP power plants, enabling the early supply of electricity and importantly, access to revenues much earlier in the investment cycle.

Our technology is scalable and can easily be applied at a nano-scale of 10-50KW which can be used for small remote communities or project power supply. An example is shown below.

The Solar Collector works using the following major components:

Solar Lens. Optical system of concentration segments with different refractive indices to concentrate the solar field to a particular location.Temperatures over 500 Celsius have been achieved using the lens alone.

 

Solar Receiver. A black body type receptor minimizing energy losses from solar radiation. Receiver uses a carbon nano-tube coating which retains 99.5% of heat with minimal losses of less than 2%.

Solar Tracker. Single Axis or Dual axis systems,designed to track the movement of the sun horizontally and vertically during the hours of daylight,controlled by an automatic electronic system
